WHY CROSSES?
In 2010, Mark Irland, The Montague County Crossman, lost his daughter, Meg. He had to work up the nerve to visit her gravesite. It was a horrendously difficult to walk up to a mound of dirt with just a tin plaque identifying her grave. He couldn't get home fast enough to make her a cross. He had his brother erect the cross and was still unable to visit the grave for over a year. Everyone handles these things differently, but it gave him great comfort to know the cross was there.

Mark then began his ministry. He now makes a cross for everyone who passes away in Wise or Montague County. Mark also makes a cross for the soldiers, fireman, policeman, and tragedy victims all over the United States that pass away in the line of duty. He does his best never to leave anyone out, just in case they need it.
